Instructions *

The client must ensure that all their instructions and expectations regarding the booking and session are agreed in writing.

Licence Granted to the Client *

The copyright in all Photographic Works resulting from the Booking or Order remains the property of the Photographer. The Photographer grants the Client a non–exclusive Licence to use those parts of the Photographic Works selected by the Photographer and presented to the Client, however this Licence does not include the right to copy, reproduce or publish the Photographic Works or any part of the Photographic Works.

Conditions of Licence *

This Licence to use, and the right to use, the photos comes into effect from the date of full payment of the Order, except where the Photographer gives express written permission.

Reservation *

The client understands and agrees to pay $100 as deposit, to secure the date and time of the maternity photoshoot, and for the photographer to not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for that time.

Payment *

The client shall pay the photographer the various amount payable in accordance with the booking. The winter special is to receive a complimentary maternity photoshoot and ten digital images with the purchase of a newborn package. $100 is paid to secure the winter special, and must be paid by the end of June 2021. The remaining balance of the newborn session ( newborn package minus $100 deposit) must be paid in order to receive your maternity photos and/or before your newborn photoshoot.

Cancellation or Postponement of Booking *

Where the Client cancels or postpones a Booking appointment within 48 hours before the photosession, the $100 deposit is non-refundable, unless a postponement has been agreed upon due to sickness or client has gone into labour and cannot attend a maternity photoshoot. Prior to 48 hours, the photographer will return any invoice paid. The photographer may postpone the photosession due to bad weather. If the client is unable to reschedule a new date all invoices paid will be returned to the client.

Covid-19 *

If either the photographer or the client are sick the session will be rescheduled until everyone in your or my household is well. There is no fee to transfer the session date due to illness. I understand that practice guidelines can change at any time due to the nature of Covid-19 and that guidelines provided by the Ministy of Health will be followed regarding safe practice of the photoshoot. These guidelines will be provided before the photosession.

Transfer of Booking *

The Booking appointment and any fees paid prior to cancellation or postponement of the appointment are transferable to another person, as if it were the original person, as long as the Booking is similar and the date and time of the appointment are not changed. This must be agreed with the photographer. If a winter special has been paid for and for some reason the maternity shoot has not happened before baby is born there is no credit given, monies given or another photoshoot to be held instead of the maternity photoshoot.

Refunds and Reshoots *

Refunds and re-shoots will not be given for poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair, weather related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer. Refunds and re-shoots will not be given for those who do not co-operate for the session, eg. children who cry or do not smile. Refunds and re-shoots are given entirely at the discretion of the photographer.

Final images *

The client understands that the photographer's decision regarding the images is final. The final images will be digital images, supplied as an online gallery for the client to download. A link to this gallery will be made available via email. The gallery will remain available to the client to download for one month from the date the link to the gallery is emailed to the client. The client understands it is their responsibility to download their images within this time.

Model Release

The Client acknowledges that the purpose of the creation of the Photographic Works includes the right of the Photographer to: (a) Enter the Photographic Works into photographic competitions or awards and for their use in any material published in connection with promoting those competitions or awards; and (b) Advertise or otherwise promote the Photographer’s Work; and (c) Submit the Photographic Works for display at art galleries or other premises; and (d) Use the Photographic Works for any other purpose within the Photographer’s business activities.

Back Up *

Once the images have been delivered to the clients Aurora Lane Photography is no longer responsible for loss of images or for maintaining back ups of the client's images.

Arriving Early/Late *

The session starts at the agreed upon time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes before your session I will not be ready to receive you. If you are running late please inform Lindy 021803114 as soon as you can. If you are more than 25 minutes late your session may be rescheduled, at the photographers discretion, should your session conflict with another booking on the same date due to running overtime from starting late.

Agreement *
