I can’t wait to meet you, and create some beautiful memories for you and your family. As we get older, as our kids grow up and our parents become frail, photos become one of our most treasured possessions.
My approach to photography is to capture the laughter, the love, the tears and the real moments. Bountiful bumps, the joy of a new baby, your children’s milestones, and creative family portraits. I want you to have fun and enjoy it. I want to make it easy for you. When you first book, I send through a questionnaire to find out about you and your family. I have digital preparation guides to give you, so you know what to expect and get all those pre-shoot questions answered, such as what should I wear and getting the kids ready.
My pricing starts at $150 for the session fee and then you just purchase the photos or artwork you love.
Session Fee
$150
The session fee covers the preparation for the session, the session itself and the editing of your beautiful images.
This session fee does not include any digitals, prints or packages, these are purchased separately. There is no minimum purchase, only purchase what you love.
Digital Only Collection
One: five high-resolution digital images $295
Two: fifteen high-resolution digital images $495
Three: twenty five high-resolution digital images $695
Digital and Print Collections
Four: five 5 by 7 prints in an 8 by 10 matted frame with the corresponding high-resolution digital images $495
Five: ten 5 by 7 prints in an 8 by 10 matted frame with the corresponding high-resolution digital image $795
Add a beautifully handmade in New Zealand, presentation box sized 8 by 10 inches for your matted prints $200
ArtWork
14” by 11 inch frame with a 10 by 8 inch fine-art print, framed and ready to hang on your wall $300
Extra 7 by 5 inch print in matted frame with corresponding high resolution digital image $75 each

I would like to book. What do I do now? +
Just fill out the form on the contact page or send me an email at hello@auroralanephotography.com. Once you have decided on the type of session you would like and choose a date, you will receive an invoice for the session fee, which is needed to confirm the booking.
What do I wear? +
After you book I send you a guide with helpful tips on what to choose. Some clothes photograph better than others. I also have boutique maternity gowns for your maternity shoots, and also some outfits for your little baby, if you choose.
How do I prepare for the photoshoot? +
After you book I send you a guide with helpful tips on how to prepare for your session. There is not a lot you have to do to prepare for your session but I will talk you through what to expect, and some tips to help it run smoothly and get the best photos that are worthy of framing for the wall.
How and when do I pay? +
To book your session you pay the $150 deposit. THen the remainder of the payment needs to be made a week before your session. If you are booking for a session within a week fullpayment of the chsen collection is required. You are able to upgrade or downgrade after you have seen your online gallery.
Do you do a payment plan? +
Yes I can organise a payment plan for you. Your images will be delivered once full payment is made. Artwork will be ordered when full payment is made.
How and when do I receive my photos? +
Photos are delivered by a private online gallery. I send you a link and you can download both full resolution and social media sized images. I take between two and four weeks to edit your gallery. If you order artwork, I order through Queensberry, who produce beautiful professional printing and framed artwork ready to put on your wall or your coffee table.
