Instructions *

The client must ensure that all their instructions and expectations regarding the booking and session are agreed in writing.

Licence Granted to the Client *

The copyright in all the photographs resulting from the photoshoot remains the property of the Photographer. The Photographer grants the client a non–exclusive Licence to use the images selected by the Photographer and presented to the Client, however this Licence does not include the right to copy, reproduce or publish the photos commercially. You may organise your own printing of the photos or order prints through Aurora Lane Photography for personal use or for family and friends. You may share the photos on social media and your own website.

Conditions of Licence *

This Licence to use, and the right to use, the photos comes into effect from the date of full payment of the photoshoot, except where the Photographer gives express written permission.

Payment *

To book the date the client must pay $200 deposit to secure the date and current prices. A minimum of the smallest package must be paid by one week before the photoshoot.

Transfer of Booking *

The Booking appointment and any fees paid prior to cancellation or postponement of the appointment are transferable to another person, as if it were the original person, as long as the Booking is similar and the date and time of the appointment are not changed. This must be agreed with the photographer.

Cancellation or Postponement of Booking *

Where the Client cancels or postpones a Booking appointment within 24 hours before the photosession, any money paid minus the deposit will be refunded. Cancelations made prior to 24 hours, the photographer will return any invoice paid minus $100 to cover admin time and props ordered. The photographer may postpone the photosession due to bad weather or sickness. If the client is unable to reschedule to a new date all invoices paid minus $100 will be returned to the client. When a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the session, the client has an option to reschedule the photoshoot, and their deposit and any packages paid for, will be transferred over to the new session date, or the client can receive a refund minus the $200 deposit.

Covid-19 *

If either the photographer or the client are sick the session will be rescheduled until everyone in your or my household is well. There is no fee to transfer the session date due to illness. I understand that practice guidelines can change at any time due to the nature of Covid-19 and that guidelines provided by the Ministy of Health will be followed regarding safe practice of the photoshoot. These guidelines will be provided before the photosession.

Refunds Due To Covid 19 *

If a photoshoot is unable to go ahead due to Covid 19, for example through illness of the client or photographer, due to isolation requirements or a government lockdown, the choice of a free reschedule to a later date or a refund of any money paid, minus $100, with be given.

Refunds and Reshoots *

Refunds and re-shoots will not be given for poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair, weather related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer. Refunds and re-shoots will not be given for those who do not co-operate for the session, eg. children who cry or do not smile. Refunds and re-shoots are given entirely at the discretion of the photographer.

The Cake

I understand that I, and not Aurora Lane Photography, am responsible for providing the cake for the cake smash. I agree to not include vegetable shortening in the cake or icing as this ingredient stains the backdrops used by Aurora Lane Photography. I understand that Aurora Lane Photography is not responsible to any allergies that arise from eating the cake.

Back Up *

Once the images have been delivered to the clients Aurora Lane Photography is no longer responsible for loss of images or for maintaining back ups of the client's images.

Model Release

The Client acknowledges that the purpose of the creation of the Photographic Works includes the right of the Photographer to: (a) Enter the Photographic Works into photographic competitions or awards and for their use in any material published in connection with promoting those competitions or awards; and (b) Advertise or otherwise promote the Photographer’s Work; and (c) Submit the Photographic Works for display at art galleries or other premises; and (d) Use the Photographic Works for any other purpose within the Photographer’s business activities.

Packages And Price List *

I have read through the packages and price list.

Arriving Early/Late *

The session starts at the agreed upon time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes before your session I will not be ready to receive you. If you are running late please inform Lindy 021803114 as soon as you can. If you are more than 25 minutes late your session may be rescheduled, at the photographers discretion, should your session conflict with another booking on the same date due to running overtime from starting late.

Agreement *
